Hi ive just recently just created a Assassin and i am unsure of what secondary class that would be good to go with it since Assassin are more a offensive then defensive type of character any views?
Is there a way to get around the fact that Assassins armour class is low and die easy to the warriors?

Thanks for reading and hopefully posting

Take Mo as your secondary for Rebirth. You will need it since you are going to play the whole game with henches
And cap Flasing Blades asap that at least will allow you to survive... little longer

There are several options for defense.

Monk - Protection Prayers (negate 1 attack or reduce damage, curing conditions), Healing Prayers, Rebirth, removing hexes
Warrior - Tactic Stances (receive 75% blocking, immune to knockdowns)
Ranger - Wilderness Survival (stances, poison, healing), Beast Mastery (healing, extra health, faster attacks, a pet)
Necromancer - transfering conditions, explosive minions, healing, weakening enemy defenses
Ritualist - Communion Rituals (reduce damage, evades), Flesh of My Flesh, global healing
Elementalist - Wards, AoE around you
Mesmer - Stances, Domination Magic, Illusion Magic, best energy management

I have taken A/Mo (like many others) because I want to remove conditions and hexes (since assassins can't). I would also like to make sure that I can rez everyone else when they die (and I'm still alive). I've played this game long enough to know when to run and when to fight.

Hope this helps.

You will not die easily for warriors. Because if u are A/w you have 4-ever 75% blocking. Use wild blow and critical defenses combo.

yeah lol, but the problem is Wild Blow has 5 sec recharge. Critical Defenses last for 6 seconds...that leave 1 second for another skill!! not including the time to swing the Wild Blow!

Hi

I go for warrior secondary for the pure reason of wach yourself.

The extra armour not only helps you out a lot with surviviability, but helps the others in your team too (dont think you can tank with it, run in unleash oyur combo, back to squishies then watch yourself, rinse and repeat)
